    Winterization?

    Winterize it. You used it. The fuel is problematic and you need to check for lower unit water intrusion. Winterization is cheap compared to the damage done by water in gear oil and cleaning up bad fuel. Sorry

    Sounds just like the behaviour of my "Little One" the last few years. What is the year, model and serial number of your motor. Mine was a late 2003 build 9.9M serial OT 897621, from Canada. I imported it (used) to USA in 2006. After a few years I had much trouble starting and keeping it running...

    Yamaha 2008 VMAX 150 HP V150TLR

    I just had to have the pump and filter replaced on mine this summer. First time in 14 years that I've had anything go "wrong" with my Yamaha. Has 800 hours. I love this motor: V150TLR.
