    Disconnecting shift rod on 1984 90hp

    "The manual says to remove the "The manual says to remove the shift rod screw in order to remove the lower unit. I can see the rod and the screw end (no head)from the shift cable side but the screw head is not visible. can anyone tell me how to access the shift rod screw from the oposite side...
