    Exhaust leak, Adaptor plate - driveshaft housing. 2005 EFI 60hp

    I had the exact same hole. I removed the adapter plate ground out the corroded aluminum made a stainless steel insert the shape of the cavity and built up the area with devcon aluminum putty (expensive but excellent product) filed the plate smooth and reassembled. Repair completed 2 years ago...
