    Suzuki white wire fuse blows on hole shot DF200A

    Boat was fine last week. This week the white wire fuse (15A) blows on the hole shot Three fuses so far. The motor starts and runs fine at 5 mph, but as soon as I try to get it on plane the fuse blows. Any suggestions? Ker C

    There is a small hole in the gear case port side, low and forward. What is its purpose? Ken C

    Disk with serial number?

    Actually it is 1" (25 mm) in diameter and looks like this: Might be a coincidence but engine no longer draws gas properly. Is it a welch plug and I have an opening I shouldn't have?

    Disk with serial number?

    I found a 3/4" alloy disk with the engine's S/N embossed, loose under the cowl. What's it for and from where did it dislodge? Ken C
