    Wanted 4.3 engine

    Anyone know where to get an used or rebuilt 4.3 mercruiser engine,preferably in the Carolinas or Georgia area. Looking to replace engine after internal crack was found in block.

    Freeze plugs

    89 galaxy, 4.3 Mercruiser. Dealers are telling me 9 out of 10 times freeze plugs come out, that engine block will be cracked. Do you all agree or disagree with that. I hope not,
