    Had some work done on my motor, noticed when I go to full throttle it pushes my choke out to first knotch, is this normal? Thanks

    1987 25 hp mercury outboard, slows and and pops at mid range,

    Help!! My 1987 25 hp mercury outboard, slows and and pops at mid thur high range, after it pops out smoke it returns to higher rpm. I have already replaced the reed valuves and rebult the carb, still doing it.:( Anyone have an idea what is causing this?
