    Best octane and idle mixture question

    I have a 1994 Johnson outboard 48 hp (model J48ESLERD). I just replaced the fuel pump/filter unit and the cleaned the plugs/checked the gap. It's running ok, but seems a tad rough. I'm wondering if my choice of octane (89) is less than ideal. All wondering if the idle mixture could use an...
