I am in the process of repowering my boat. No one wanted my Hondas so I traded them into the dealer. I have 2 sets of all the maintenance parts someone would need. Looking to for someone to buy the entire lot. Not interested in parting it out.

As i rotated the throttle slowly, the resistance would change. About midway, my screen would say "ol" which is the same as if there was no connectivity
My TPS had a bad spot in it from 4100-4400 rpms causing it to drop rpms because the computer didn't know what position it was in. I replaced the entire throttle body. They are now almost double what they cost when this thread started!
Hello, deciding to repower my boat as it was in the plan when I bought it 18 months ago. It current has twin 150s that are 2010s. 1300 hrs +/- . They both run excellent. I have had them 45-60 miles offshore on regular basis for the the last 18 months, and wouldn't hesitate to do it tomorrow...
When the engine is down and won't start, do you have spark? I would guess not, which would leave me to beleive a pinched wire or bad ground. Maybe when the motor gets below a certain spot, it pulls or pushes enough for it to lose connection
I don't think the tell tale has anything to do with your overheating. The tell tale just shows you your impeller is pumping water.
When was last time your impeller was changed? Thermostats? I would try doing the vinegar or saltaway flush using a tub.
These were new to me engines, so I have no idea on when it was last done. That one was my port engine, the starboard was much better. I attribute it to fuel lines breaking down on a 25 yr old boat.
