    50hp 4stroke leaving oil slick after shut off.

    Tried that. I have gone thru the motor and tighten everything replaced locking snap connectors, new fuel line connector etc. Still get a slick in the water when it is off, doesn't matter how high I trim it, it's still there

    50hp 4stroke leaving oil slick after shut off.

    I have a 2009 50hp Merc 4stroke. When I turn the motor off it has a definite oil/gas slick around it. Any suggestions where this may be coming from? The motor runs fine.
