    1997 5.7 Mercruiser won't start after rebuild

    I recently replaced the block for my 5.7 Mercruiser (cracked blocked from winter freeze). I installed the rebuild engine in the boat and it cranked up and ran perfect ... it started four times in a row for a few minutes of run time! . . . the next day I was going to break it in with water supply...
