    Please help me .I have an 60hp 1988 Evinrude , it will not idle in the water .and if I put it in gear that's the end. hate to get rid of it , has a lot of power

    help me please? I have an 1988-60 hp erude . love the power but will not idle in gear .I have new tank, new lines , the right oil, new primer, by the way will collapse at full throttle I have a 16' Bluefin well boat great for fishing not if want idle .if you can help .........THANK YOU
