I'm just today able to get back to it, started by checking grounds and did find a loose one, tightened it up but it didn't seem to be the problem, in the process found that the back end of the coil is cracked all the way through, would that prevent it from firing?     My 55 hp chrysler, I'm having trouble with firing, 1 cylinder has good spark, the other has no spark. I've got new plugs and have tested both old school, remove plug, ground and turn over engine. Top wasn't firing but bottom was, so I lightly taped top coil and it started working, now the bottom...
