    1977 johnson 140 is cutting out. what is the problem?

    my motor has just starting cutting out. it starts pretty easily and when i pull up the cold start lever it runs pretty good as is should. sometimes when i give it the juice it cuts out. if i run it at a low rpm or maybe 3/5 throttle it will run fine. after running it like that it kinda craps...
