    1982 Johnson 140 coolant issue

    So, I'm checking out this engine that I acquired that I know hasn't run in possibly over 10 years. Upon firing it up and running it for a few minutes, the overheat alarm sounds. I feel the heads and discover the upper cylinder on the port head is hot. My hope is that the thermostat is stuck...
