    Anyone know shift rod length of 1983 Evinrude 60?

    Just got a 1983 rude 60 (2 cylinder) but reverse wasn't working. Dropped the LU to replace impeller and reverse does work. I just have to adjust the shift rod to the correct length, but cant find it. Thanks

    Need advise changing 83 Evinrude 60 to tiller

    We have a 1983 remote side controlled motor that we would like to convert to tiller to give more room for fishing. Does anyone have any experience with this? Could I use a 20 hp tiller handle and make it work or is there a conversion kit? Thanks in advance
