    OMC Stringer 1984

    Can you replace a 1984 Stringer with a 1988 Cobra. The stringer goes with a 5.7 and the cobra goes with a 4.3. Also, how do you disconnect the cable from the top of the engine. Found how to disconnect from the lower unit with cotter pin but can't run that back through to completely remove...
