    1994 Mercury ticking at idle after warmed up.

    I have a 94 Mercury 60 that runs fine always but makes a ticking sound at idle after it warms. I am wondering if this is a time bomb or if it is something odd like an exhaust leak. The boat has plenty of power. I just rebuilt the fuel pump and I did run the motor in the dark and look for sparks...
