    Sorry I should have addressed that I don’t have a carburetor for the motor. It was given to me for free from a family friend. Apparently he took the carb off to clean it 4+ years ago and never found it. So that’s where I’m at. I have seen one carb on eBay for $150 and that’s probably the route...

    Mariner 40BE carb

    I have a Mariner 40BE guessing late 70’s model. Looking for a new carb. I’ve read that these motors were made by Yamaha back in the day but I can’t seem to find a Yamaha carb to match. It’s a 2 stroke 2 cylinder single carb. Any suggestions? Serial number 676 BL 407348
