The fuel pressure was checked a month ago and the fuel pump inside the fuel control cell was replaced. Ran great since. I'm thinking it's a bad MAP sensor or oil pressure sensor telling the computer to throttle the engine.
My 1997 Shamrock inboard started losing power and will not go past 1800 rpm's. Seems to idle fine. Fuel pumps and filters all new - plenty of fuel. Acts like some sort of a sensor is telling the computer to limit the rpm's. Any ideas ? MAP sensor or is there an oil pressure sensor ?
