    5.0 Mercruiser Dies when the outdrive is in the water! Works fine on the muffs

    I am in need of some help. The long story is I recently rebuilt my 5.0 mercruiser with a new block, new heads and rebuilt carb. The engine runs great in the driveway on the muffs and in a big bucket of water. the problem is when we take it to the ramp and get the entire out drive underwater...
