Thanks I’ll try that tomorrow and see what happens. I do have a multimeter but didn’t think of that. I’ll let you know what I come up with and hopefully help another boater. Have a great night. I’ll also go through the wiring harness to see if something may have come apart by chance.
Jeez I just reread my post the key switch was staying in the start position and wouldn’t snap back to the on position as it should. So the starter was grinding. Thanks for the clarification and no you’re not being a smart @$& lol I appreciate the feedback.
Hello and thank for replying, The original key switch quit working and was staying in the on position and would not go back to the on position kept grinding the starter. I tried contact cleaner and do electrical grease to get it to function but it didn’t work and yes you said it lights up but...
I have a 2010 Honda 60 4 stoke that won’t start after putting in a new key switch. I purchased OEM from Honda it is a easy plug and play, all of the dash works including stereo and I have completely changed all of the fuse’s including the 40 amp. I did make sure the safety is attached also but...
