    I have a 1965 outboard evinrude with electric shift. Not sure what is used to connect the steering cable to the motor. In the pic is what I have. The motor turns and the cable works well. I could probably find something to bolt the two together. But would rather find what I am missing.

    I am looking for an ignition switch for a 40hp evinrude. I am wondering if the 20amp is required or the 1 amp will be ok?
