    50 elpto loss of power

    I have an 04 50 hp ELPTO. Had it on the lake this weekend. I could only get about 3000 rpm out of it any more and the motor would die. When I could keep it running for an extended period it would still show turning 3000 rpm but the boat would slow. Any help would be appreciated.
