    Switching out a 2006 Mercury 25hp 4 stroke to a 2002 Mercury 9.9 4 stroke.

    I currently have a 2006 25hp 4 stroke on my boat and want to put a 2002 9.9 4 stroke on for limit lake reasons. I already have controls hooked up to the 25hp. Can I use all the same controls, throttle/shift and steering for this 9.9 or would I need any adapters?
