    My mistake. It was around 2500 for the repairs. The pontoon has a built in fuel tank and I used fresh gas when I got the boat back. The water pump impeller was replaced. If the flywheel key is sheared would the motor still run?

    This engine is approximately 25 years old. IT has been well maintained. Plugs and fuel filter have been changed regularly. Last year motor was brought to a boat mechanic due to hard starting.
