    So nothing to worry about then? Speedo runs fine but we always struggle with the tell tale so wasnt sure if it had anything to do with that.

    At the weekend while running the muffs after a day out I noticed a lot of water coming from the gearbox housing. I have a small 6mm (ish) hose above this area with what looks like a male to male connector in the end but this doesn't reach the hole & is blocked off. An ideas what this is for...

    Bah! Just snapped a bolt on my 2001 DF140 while trying to remove the casing. It didn’t take much pressure to just give up and snap so think it’s been previously over torqued.
