    The whole point of breaking it in is supposed to seat seals and orings... once sat, they don't re-seat sadly.

    Only gauges i have is speed and rpm. im adding an outer hour meter... im just so concerned with that break in crap. I have heard they are great engines!

    So i bought a new to me boat... when i was there i had them check the hours as they had not and come to find out it had 4.4 hrs!!! my concern is this... when he showed me it works forward and reverse the highest rpms it had seen was 2k... and that was at that time... im worried about the break...
