    Honestly I got to looking at prices for the parts and I'm just going to find me another motor. I would like to one day rebuild it but when I can find motors on Facebook marketplace for under $500 working/ running/ holding good compression then why not go that route. Im a big fan of saving time...

    Okay so i have an issue yesterday my boat motor locked up on me while I was out on the water. I could turn it by hand for for about one and a 1/2 rotations, and then it's like it's locked up at that point, but you can turn it back the other direction.
