    Bought this 1983 Johnson on a 16 ft Lowe "Big John" boat at first of year not running. I rebuilt carb new fuel pump and sparkplugs ran fine all year! Would like to find a little more power thinking about rebuilding powerhead maybe boring to .30 over ,but hate to take apart a good running...

    remote controls

    I bought a 1983 Lowe john boat with 83 johnson 35 horse outboard the remote controls for shifter work ok but throttle is very erractic is it possible to seperate the throttle into its own control either hand or foot?
