    on the intake are 4 one way check valves 0392688 can I open these up and put or splice in 5/32 or 3/16 check valve instead of going factory ?

    not sure what they do, are how important they are. They seem to be cross over lines with 4 one way check valves that go to intake manifold. mine are always open but check valve doesnt seem to be working.? could i get some input please Thank you.
