    Role of carb part on 115 '76 6 cyl Merc

    Just bought a '76 115 hp 6 cyl mercury. Runs great (not put it to lake yet!). However, extending from the bottom side of the carburetors there is a small pipe/port from which gas is seeping. What the heck is this little port's function? Overflow for carb? Thanks.
