    stiff steering 1993 9.9 mariner kicker motor

    New to forum, hope I am in the right section I have a 1993 9.9hp Mariner as a kicker mtr and can't hardly turn it from side to side. Thinking there must be a "friction nut" I should be able to back off but can't locate it\ ANY ideas as to where is it. Thank in advance Bigdipper in Iowa
