The install pictures for the new one shows the screws are empty that held the red wire & red/white stripe wire. Any...

    Mercury 50 outboard w/elec. start, power trim, SN 6587079 Original stator # 398-5454A21 has 6 wires and the new replacement # 398-832075A20 has only 4 wires (lacking the red wire & red/white stripe wire). Are the red & red/white stripe wires not needed now? Thanks any help!
