    1996 merc 4 stroke 50 hp rev limiter.

    Does this motor have a rev limiter. As mentioned in another post my motor just started leaking oil into intake from the valve vent tube. what i forgot to mention was i recently got a new prop. I do not have a tach but the prop guy said unless its bouncing off the rev limiter it should be ok...

    I am having issues sporatically with my motor being real hard to start. Usually cold it starts fine. But when i drive it shut of then fish for a half hour sometimes it takes quite awile for it to start. So i took it to the dealer they said other than adjusting the idol it starts great. So back...
