    HELP! Evinrude 60, early 80's, starting fault w/ odd symptoms.

    As requested. Im obviously not sure of the year/model of this motor as stated, i simply came to that conclusion after looking at numerous parts manuals. And no, i have not looked at the points, but am very keen to try anything. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated!

    I have a evinrude early 80's 3cyl. Im not sure what model/ year as the engine plate is unreadable which makes repair much harder. The fault i have is not starting, w/ no fire.
