    Classic 50 . Hyd tilt / trim release screw?

    Got a Classic 50 that is running great but Tilt/Trim suddenly stopped working. I suspect Solenoids are bad but cannot find a manual release screw to release the motor to manually move motor. It is currently stuck in the down position. Anybody know how to release the tilt motor on this old girl?

    Which Manual?

    I found the year of an older motor by researching the serial number which gave me the year. That particular search was on "iboats" there are more on the net. Google it

    25hp merc 2 stroke oil leak

    I have a simular problem except..after running it on hose, a small amount of thick, black oil drips out under the foot. I just got this motor and immediately had to replace starter and electric choke then I test ran it on the hose and found this oil drip! It is thick, almost like a very black...
