    Thanks. Top half looks fine. Think the pop is a broken tooth. At this point, age of drive. I'm probably going to replace with new quicksilver drive. Aggravation, parts, tools or service expense, probably not worth it. Sell my scraps.

    This drive has about 600 hours on it. I didn't have enough load on the throttle, and the engine was at a higher RPM than normal. In a panic I jammed the drive into forward gear. Since then the drive has a metallic tapping noise in forward gear (can't hear it in reverse). Thought maybe I...
