    2001 Mercury 150hp two stroke xr6 over heating alarm

    I have replaced water pump, new thermostats, new poppet valve. The steady alarm kicks in at 2000 rpm. Can run motor for 3-4 minutes at 2000 and the alarm will come on. Has anyone else had this oroblem
