    ‘89 Mariner 40

    My motor seems to starve for fuel at 2/3 throttle, has brand new hose and bulb. The nipple coming out of tank has check valve in it, could this be done away with and replaced with open nipple? It starts and idles super easy! Possibly new fuel pump needed? Thanks for help!!
