    Yamaha 140 V4

    I am having the same type of issue. No battery charge about 12.8v at 2500 rpm. Plugs are fouled and only get 7vac to the primestart blue wire. I replaced the regulator and no change. Stator voltage at reg is 18 vac and does not go higher with rpm. If I unplug from regulator voltage goes up.
