    I have an 4 stroke 40hp efi Mercury (previoulsy had a Mariner 30 which was stolen) - I operate the boat on a creek where the water can be shallow and it draws in sand occasionally but it appears really susceptable to blocking the water flow into the impeller, and slowing flow through the pee...
