    4.3 GL trim indication?

    My new to me boat has been repowered with a 2000/2001 4.3 GL. On the dash is a non-working trim gauge from the original engine install. It occurs to me that knowing the trim position could be handy. Do 4.3 GLs have trim indication ability?

    4.3 GL throttle question

    I just bought a boat with a 2000/2001 4.3 GL. The throttle is a whole lot like the one on my outboard, Fwd-Neutral-Rev with a trim switch on the left side of the handle. However, under the handle is a white rocker switch, and I have no idea what it's for. Any hints appreciated.
