    70hp Johnson loses RPMs while running

    Started great and ran a while. Then engine slowly idled down until it quit. Did this 4-5 times. Was running at normal 5300 rpms at the time. Last time, it ran at 4700rpms then backed down to 3000 then up to 3500 then back down to 3000 and stayed that way until we got back to boat ramp. Any ideas...
