    after running under load the motor quits chrysler 318 1975

    I am at a loss here and would greatly appreciate any help. I have a 1975 Chrysler 318 inboard in a Penn Yan boat. The engine starts up and runs great for about 30-40 minutes and then as we back off the throttle the engine begins to run rough and miss...it then shuts down and won't start for 40...
