    2003 Mercury 75hp ELPTO motor heat alarm

    So my heat alarm is going off as soon as the prop is about 3/4 in the water what setting off this alarm ? what do I need to replace/ clean, seems like a short some where. this happens as soon as I turn the key sure I could just unplug the buzzer but that does not seem right

    2003 merc 75hp 3 cyl 2 stroke lost power

    model 1075412AD motor runs fine but under load it has low power full throttle and will have RPM drops offs for a secs then jump back to normal like weak spark or some thing else? could this be part of the pick up ? on the top of the motor one of the 3 coil packs or the resistor pack?
