    No spark on serial number A712170 25 HP Merc

    The serial number on my old 25 horse Merc is A712170, I'm assuming that would make it a 1985 vintage? It has developed a condition of no spark. I've checked both the kill switch on the end of the handle as well as the on/off switch on the side of the lower case of the motor and both are OK...
