    I have a 1990's model 30hp I have a 1990's model 30hp 2cycle Johnson. For aahile it got harder to shift. Now there is a notched plate under the Flywheel that allows a cylinder style lock to come up into the notch. That plate is supposed to turn. It does turn but not enough to let the engine...
