    Newly rebuilt 4.3l Mercruiser cant get higher than 3500 rpm shuts down when hot

    I just had a 4.3l engine replaced. New carb, water pump, gimble bearing, etc. Have taken it out 4 times. Each time cant get enough rpm's to plane off if I have more than one person in the boat. After running around for 30 to 45 minutes it shuts down. When it cools a bit it will crank again. Can...
