    150/75 interchangable?

    I'm a newbie here & not too familiar with outboard's. I'm looking at swapping a 1996 75 mercury for a 150 XR4. Will the linkage & wiring connection's be the same or will I have to swap more than just motors? What's the weight differences between the two? Thanks for any advice or knowledge on this!
