    Exhaust quiry

    Just picked up a another boat, predominantly fresh water but it saw some Florida salt on limited basis. The engines are closed cooled, does salt water get all the way back to the exhaust manifold? I was going to replace the risers, should the manifolds be done as well? its a fresh water boat now

    engine compatibility1984 350

    I have a spare block in the barn, Crusader 350 (#49020) best I can tell it is a 1984. Considering going through it for a spare as My current ship has a pair of crusader 350's, 1986 vintage, (#'s 57308& 9). other than the rear main seal Whats the difference and will they performthe same?

    350 crusader continued

    I agree that 26@ seems low, and 4k seems high. But the its propped per book at 4800 - 5200. the motor turn 300 horses supposidly. Is there a way to time this thing with out taking it to 4k? Yes I used a standard strobe light model 50-473-07, 350 cid crusader/pleasure craft. 2007

    2007 350, carburated

    Installed in a trolling boat, plugs foul after 20 hours. Book shows the timing at 26 deg @ 4000 rpm witch calculates to 4 degrees at idle. should'nt the timing be 8 to 10? are 41-993 the correct plugs?
